Goa Calling!!!

Finally its happening, long ride. Ready and excited for the long ride to Goa.

Reason, Bike Nomads (or simply BNs) Annual meet is happening in Goa this Oct 1st. Nine nomads from Bangalore are starting tomorrow (29th Sep, 2006).

Below is the route plan —


Day1: Bangalore – Nelamangala – Kunigal – Hassan – Sakaleshpur – Shiradi – Mangalore – Udupi = 387 KMs

Day 0: Bangalore – Nelamangala – Kunigal = 90 KMs (including extra 18 KMs from office)

Day 1: Kunigal – Hassan – Belur – Mudigere – Charmadi – Beltangadi – Karkala – Udupi = 340 KMs

Day2: Udupi – Honnavar – Karvar – Panaji – Calangute = 296 KMs

Day 2: Udupi – Kundapur – Honnavar – Karwar – Canacona – Panaji – Calangute = 360 KMs

Returning on Oct 2nd, Monday. Return route — yet to be decided.

Day 4: Calangute – Panaji – Karwar – Karwar – Honnawar – Sagar – Shimoga – Tumkur – Kunigal = 650 KMs

Bike – general checkup
Spare parts – Accelerqator cable, Clutch cable, Spark plug, Chain link, Headlight bulb, Puncture kit
