Thanks & have a great weekend.

Guilty!

I’m guilty of not updating the blog about my recent travels. It’s been a busy schedule at work & will be for few more days. And weekends it’s more & more of travel.

Few more days, I’ll be back blogging on my recent travels. Please be patient, I’ve got loads of stuff to share with you people.

How far can you travel with 1000Rs in your pocket?!

The Plan -
  • Each team consists of two members
  • Each person is allowed Rs. 1000 and a back pack.
  • Participants are allowed to carry extra money, but are not encouraged to use it unless they are in some deep trouble.
  • Remotest village in a state is a must visit.
  • Farther the distance of travel from starting point more the fun.

Do you feel 1000 Rs is very less? Here is the alternate way to get some extra money (that’s what they suggest in their FAQ page -

make money on the way by doing some small work, dance on the road and put a cloth down to collect money :P… and if all else fails beg.

Interested? Me, yes. But not in the mentioned time frame. And I’m sure gonna try this sometime soon. For more details check their website - Make Your Trip

Came to know about the plan from Mridula

Travelling on the bus top

We reached Hosagadde, the end point of our two day trekking. Last thing we wanted is to see the last bus with no seats! But alas, it was almost filled and we decided to travel on the bus top.

Guys taking rest on bus top after a difficult two day trek

It was a welcome break to sit on the top. Savouring the beautiful view. Ducking now and then to avoid the tree branches. It was fun!

PS: Trek log is still pending, give me some more time.
