Guilty!

I’m guilty of not updating the blog about my recent travels. It’s been a busy schedule at work & will be for few more days. And weekends it’s more & more of travel.

Few more days, I’ll be back blogging on my recent travels. Please be patient, I’ve got loads of stuff to share with you people.

Happy Birthday

Last year this day I created payaniga to share my travel experiences. It was a slow start & was in sleepy mode for almost 7-8 months. As my travel tales started coming up one by one, the blog became more active. It’s been a long journey from a small ride to Shivanasamudra to trek near Ooty to few short rides & couple of long rides to few photoshoots. The list goes on, spanned across 4 Southern states of India – Karnataka, Goa, Kerala & Tamil nadu.

Visit count stands at 4800+ unique visitors & 8300+ page loads as of now. Thanks for all the support. Keep visiting & commenting.

And its apt time to quote my favourite lines by Robert Frost–

The woods are lovely, dark and deep,
But I have promises to keep,
And miles to go before I sleep,
And miles to go before I sleep.

May I travel more & a very happy birthday to Payaniga :)

Lost!

When lost, all roads lead you to the same place where you realised you’re lost!.

I’m lost in this World of routine work. I’m lost. I need to get out.

Riding Solo To The Top Of The World

Talking about crazyness (viz playing volley ball in a moving train), came across this video teaser in 60kph.com of a lone rider who went on a 350 CC bike to the top of the world, all ALONE and shot this film.

Excerpt from 60kph.com -

Riding Solo To The Top Of The World is the unique experience of a lonesome traveller, who rides his motorcycle to one of the remotest places in the World, the Changthang Plateau, in Ladakh, bordering China.

Situated at an average altitude of 15,000 feet, Changthang covers almost 30,000 square kilometers of Ladakh. A land devoid of roads and with temperatures that dip to minus 40 degree Celsius in winter.

As a one-man film unit, he astonishes you, filming the landscape he passes by and the people he interacts with, capturing moments of beauty, pain, love, hardship, self doubt and spiritual triumphs.
