Welcome to payaniga.com where I share my travel stories and experiences. The name of the site ‘Payaniga’ is a Kannada word (ಪಯಣಿಗ), meaning traveler, the one who travels. It is derived from the word Payana (ಪಯಣ) which means ‘travel’, ‘journey’.
About me:
Bangalorean, weekend wanderer, budget traveler, backpacker, trekker, amateur photographer, biker – both cycle & motorbike, a long distance runner in the making and someone who’s still learning how to pack light. And here is the ever-growing India travel bucket list.
While I share my travel experience here in this blog, whenever I get time I share my non-travel thoughts/monologues at PQRS

I like the fact that you give details about many off-the-beaten-path places that people can visit. Your pictures are wonderful and well thought out. Thanks for the great work, and keep it up. Wishing you many more happy trails.
Thanks for the kind words, Raghu 🙂
I have been following your blog off and on for many years and absolutely love your presentation and careful selection of the remote places that are not bombarded with tourists. Every time I feel home sick, I visit your page to see which other great places I’d like to see when I visit. Thank you for keeping up the blog and continuing to document your journeys. Your photographs are eye-catching and very well composed. My best wishes to many more journeys to come and from one runner to another-many happy running miles!
Your comment made my day. Thanks Raghu
