Around this time last year, I went on a weekend ride from Bhagamandala to Bekal fort along the green route of Western ghats. With rainy season around, we were in for a treat all along the ride. Here are a few photos from the ride —

Thanks Siddhartha 🙂
Very beautiful shots.
Good to know. I thought it is a long ride. Realized that Madikeri being close to Kerala it is under 100kms..
Good
Srinidhi, Kerala border is around 25-30KMs from Bhagamandala. And Bekal is around 80KMs.
Since most part of the route is down hill & rolling terrain, it is a wonderful route for cycling 🙂
A very interesting post. Nice shots too 🙂
Lovely clicks.
Hi I m also planning one same trip. Help me itinerary.
Hi, I went with Cycling And More, who organize weekend cycling trips around Karnataka. The same ride is happening in November. See if you can join them.
Very good photographs. Cycling during monsoon is exciting. Moist, breezy, mild rain and fresh air.
