Hillocks around Siddarabetta

When we visited Siddarabetta recently, I got a rare chance of not being a driver. The drive took us around Koratagere weekend trip. I settled in the co-driver’s seat, taking in the views around. In case you are not familiar with the landscape around Tumkur and Koratagere, let me try to explain to you. As I sat there with no obligation to keep my eyes fixed on the road, I managed to click a few of these hillocks while on the move. Here are some of those share-worthy clicks –

Siddarabetta is a well known hill for the never ending caves, Shiva temples and the medicinal plants. Along with Siddarabetta, there are a lot of similar small hills around Koratagere and Tumkur. In case you don’t have sufficient time to go on a small hike, you get to see the Blackbucks at Maidanahalli as well.
